Why are you interested in being the next ECN Workshop and Bootcamp Chair?:
My long term goal is to own my own event planning business and this seems like a great step towards that goal. I have been a part of ECN since joining Georgia Tech as a professional, and I have experienced first hand the community and connections created through this organization. I would be honored to assist in ensuring that quality events are continued for our campus community and that education opportunities are continuously available for those hoping to learn more about coordinating events.

Why are you interested in an ECN Chair position?
I am a strong fit for the Event Coordinators Network Chair position because of my extensive experience in hosting events. Over the years, I have mastered the intricacies of event planning, from selecting the right venue and caterer to managing budgets effectively. On a campus with limited options, I understand the necessity of starting the planning and reservation process well in advance.

Collaboration is key to success in this role. I believe in the power of teamwork and learning from our collective experiences to enhance and streamline our processes, eliminating any obstacles we may encounter. I am confident that my skills and proactive approach will add significant value to this position, and I am eager to contribute positively as the Event Coordinators Network Chair.

Why are you interested in an ECN Chair position?
I am interested in the Professional Development ECN Chair position because it offers a mutually beneficial opportunity to leverage my current role as associate director of Campus Reservations and Event Services to enhance professional development on campus. In this position, I can use my experience and insights to elevate the professional development opportunities available to our community, while also enriching my own understanding and capabilities.

I feel a strong sense of duty to serve the campus community in this capacity. I am committed to breaking down silos and fostering collaboration among event planners across campus. By doing so, I aim to help all event planners be more successful in their roles, contributing to a more cohesive and effective event planning community. This position aligns perfectly with my passion for professional growth and community service, and I am eager to contribute to the ongoing success of our campus events.
