Event Planning Experience: 
I'm passionate about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together, strengthen relationships, and achieve strategic goals. With a background in Sales, Marketing, and Event Planning, I have built my career managing large-scale events, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional projects across higher education and residential communities. In my current role at Georgia Tech, I lead the planning and execution of programs and events like College of Engineering's Master's Commencement, serving more than 1,000 participants, overseeing budgets, vendor partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and operational logistics from concept to completion. My experience spans event strategy, project management, digital marketing, communications, and client relations. I enjoy developing scalable processes, solving complex challenges, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact while delivering measurable results.

Interest in Chair Position:
I'm interested in an ECN chair to be a part of a bigger community, share and gain knowledge about the fast past event industry. I'm also interested because of my desire to grow and take on new roles that will boost my career and experience in new ways. 

Department: Biomedical Engineering
Event Planning Experience:
I never think about how many events I've planned until I'm asked this question. If I had to describe my event planning experience, however, I would define it not by the events I've executed, but by the moments I've helped create and the people those moments have impacted.

My journey began as a teenager helping organize a women's retreat at my church and has since grown to include community events, school-wide celebrations, conferences, workshops, retreats, trade shows, symposiums, and large-scale programs serving thousands. While the events have varied in size and purpose, my goal has remained the same: to create moments that matter.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned from an early mentor was to "never miss the moment." And if I'm honest, I missed many before I truly understood what that meant. Over time, that lesson transformed my passion for event planning and taught me that while successful events require strong logistics and execution, the real work is creating opportunities for connection, belonging, growth, and joy. Often, those opportunities are found in the smallest details or unexpected moments that require you to pivot and respond to the needs of the people in front of you.

Whether serving a room of twenty or a crowd of thousands, I strive to create experiences where people feel welcomed, valued, and seen. To me, the most successful events are not remembered for how flawlessly they ran, but for how they made people feel long after they ended.

Interest in Chair Position:
I am one that believes events of every kind has the power to do more than teach skills, provide information, or create moments to connect.  Done well, we can create  transformative experiences for event professionals seeking connection, confidence, and community. Throughout my career in every space, I have seen firsthand how valuable it is to have access to supportive networks, practical resources, and opportunities to learn from others who understand the unique challenges and rewards within the administrative and event planning fields across industries. The Bootcamp and professional development opportunities are uniquely positioned to provide those transformative moments, and I am passionate about helping elevate its impact. My vision is to help create an environment where participants feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to grow. I want attendees to leave not only with new skills and knowledge, but also with a renewed sense of confidence, belonging, and excitement about their professional journey. I am especially passionate about creating spaces where event professionals feel seen and empowered to grow, not just in their careers, but in their confidence and sense of community. With my experience planning workshops, trade shows, parties, retreats, symposiums, and etc, I would bring a collaborative, thoughtful, and participant-centered approach to the role. I believe that when people feel safe, valued, and connected, they are more willing to learn, share, and lead from any seat in the room; I am both hopeful and excited to help cultivate that experience through the ECN events and workshops as the Chair.

Department: Enterprise Innovation Institute
Event Planning Experience:
I have more than 20 years of experience at Georgia Tech and over a decade of planning and managing events throughout Georgia and across the United States. My experience includes executive meetings, conferences, training programs, expos, workshops, and networking events ranging from small leadership gatherings to conferences with more than 300 attendees.My responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, venue selection, registration, contract management, vendor and audiovisual coordination, speaker logistics, travel planning, and overseeing on-site operations from start to finish. I also have extensive experience leading cross-functional planning committees and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments to deliver successful events. My approach is organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on creating engaging experiences while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Interest in Chair Position:
I'm interested in serving as Professional Development Chair because I enjoy creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, and grow. Throughout my career at Georgia Tech, I've seen the value of bringing colleagues together to share ideas, build relationships, and develop new skills. I believe professional development goes beyond formal training—it's also about networking, mentorship, and creating meaningful experiences that help people succeed. I would enjoy working with the committee to develop engaging programs that provide value to our members while fostering collaboration across the Institute.

Department: Advanced Concepts Laboratory
Event Planning Experience:
I have experience planning and coordinating events, including organizing schedules, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all logistics run smoothly. I enjoy creating organized plans, keeping  meetings on track, and delivering positive experiences for attendees. 

Interest in Chair Position:
I enjoy collaborating with others to create engaging and meaningful events that bring people together. Being part of the committee allows me to contribute ideas, help organize successful events, and support a positive experience for everyone involved. I value the opportunity to build relationships, strengthen our community, and continue developing my planning, communication, and leadership skills. I look forward to contributing my experience while helping the committee plan creative, well-organized, and enjoyable events.
