New Student Convocation RAT Cap Pickup Instructions
If you are a new student who was unable to attend this year’s New Student Convocation, you can pick up your RAT cap, T-Book, Pin, and other materials at the following locations:
East Campus Housing Offices
West Campus Housing Offices
Student Engagement Office- John Lewis Student Center
Smithgall Student Services Building- Suite 141
New Student Convocation is a welcome ceremony for Georgia Tech incoming students. Held on the day before the first day of classes, all incoming students will receive their RAT cap, T-Book, and Georgia Tech pin.

Be this year's Second Year Speaker!
Rising second year students at Georgia Tech are welcome to apply to be this year's student speaker at New Student Convocation on Sunday, August 20. One student will be selected by a panel of faculty, administrators, and students to share an inspirational message for this year's incoming class. The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 19, at noon.
